Getting There

[placeholder] Fly into Split Airport (SPU), about 25 minutes from the venue by car. Direct summer routes run from most major European hubs.

[placeholder] From the US, the usual route is one stop through London, Frankfurt, Munich, or Zagreb.

[placeholder] Ferries connect Split to the islands, and the coastal road makes a beautiful drive from Dubrovnik or Zadar.

Where to Stay

Old Town

[placeholder] Inside the Roman walls. Lively, walkable, best for a short stay.

Bačvice

[placeholder] A short walk east, by the beach. Good for families.

Meje

[placeholder] Quiet and green, closest to Villa Dalmacija.

Apartments

[placeholder] Split has more apartments than hotels. Book early for September.

When to Come

[placeholder] Early September is warm, around 28°C, and the sea is still swimmable well into October.

[placeholder] We suggest arriving Thursday 2 September and leaving Monday 6 September at the earliest.

Things to Do

Diocletian’s Palace

[placeholder] A Roman palace that became a living city centre.

Marjan Hill

[placeholder] Pine forest and steps above the harbour. Go at sunset.

Hvar and Brač

[placeholder] Island day trips, an hour by fast ferry.

Krka Falls
